Marguerite Delaney is a director of One 2 One counselling Ireland. Marguerite is an Accredited Therapist since 1998. She holds a professional accreditation in supervision. She also holds an Accreditation from Friary Law who are one of the six accredited bodies under section 15 of the Civil Liability and Courts Act, 2004. The mediation training is in line with the Law Society of Ireland’s CPD (Continuing professional development) requirements.

The three most used forms of Therapies include :
C.B.T. (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) will give you contentment and happiness. Overcome problems by changing thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It teaches methods whereby those who experience negative thoughts, low mood, anxiety / panic etc. can change them to positive thoughts feelings and behaviours with a new way of thinking.
Humanistic /Person-centred therapy It is an approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes human uniqueness, positive qualities, and individual potential. Many approaches include person-centred therapy, gestalt therapy, transactional analysis and transpersonal psychology.
Integrative counselling (blend of both approaches) Is the integration of different schools of psychotherapy. In this form of psychotherapy there is a focus on achieving greater levels of self-acceptance and personal growth. Some therapists practice a form of “integration therapy”, which means therapists use the blend of specific types of techniques. Other therapists work in an 'eclectic' way, where they take elements of different models and combine them in their treatment of clients.
